"Outrageously delicious. Imagine the best tasting Indian meal you’ve ever eaten, then know this is better. Last night in Christchurch tonight for a while and wanted a curry, I’m usually somewhat skeptical about curry in AU and NZ after living in ‘home of the balti’ in Birmingham, UK and It’s with utter luck I stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem. The only thing that surprised me about this place was the fact it wasn’t packed to the rafters with a waiting list to book. Every herb and spice perfectly placed and the flavour was to die for, and quite simply the best cheese and garlic naan I have ever eaten. The owner/front house is well mannered, prompt and very friendly. Myself and my partner left incredibly full! If I could score more than 5 I would. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this place. I’ll look forward to visiting again in feb next year!"

"This is arguably the best Thai restaurant I have ever had the privilege to visit. The occasion was a small intimate family birthday lunch for nine. Ambiance perfect. Attention to detail wonderful. Staff warm and engaging. Food delicate with good portion sizes. Attention to detail couldn't have been better. One of our party is wheelchair bound and her needs in this regard perfectly accommodated. Large purpose built toilet and access a huge plus. Thank you to the staff and management for a special experience."

"The place has got a special character to it and nice ambience. My one big gripe is, I drink sparkling wine only, and my glass of it had very little sparkle left in it. This has happened there before. It stands to reason opening and shutting up sparkling wine bottles decreases fizz. Buying in the small bottles would stop this happening. This is the reason I've left of a star."

"Went there to celebrate my sons birthday. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our waitress (Sophie) was just so lovely. The whole atmosphere here was lively and relaxing. The food was delicious and served to everyone at the table together. We really had a lovely time and would definitely go back!"
