"Outrageously delicious. Imagine the best tasting Indian meal you’ve ever eaten, then know this is better. Last night in Christchurch tonight for a while and wanted a curry, I’m usually somewhat skeptical about curry in AU and NZ after living in ‘home of the balti’ in Birmingham, UK and It’s with utter luck I stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem. The only thing that surprised me about this place was the fact it wasn’t packed to the rafters with a waiting list to book. Every herb and spice perfectly placed and the flavour was to die for, and quite simply the best cheese and garlic naan I have ever eaten. The owner/front house is well mannered, prompt and very friendly. Myself and my partner left incredibly full! If I could score more than 5 I would. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this place. I’ll look forward to visiting again in feb next year!"

"It's a lovely woodfired pizza joint with cherry staff and quick service. They have a solid vegan/plant based option as well as regular pizzas and they use the good melty vegan cheese, so it's a real joy to eat."

"I've been there a couple of weeks ago and had the Jackfruit Masala and i am still thinking of it. It's been so delicious, rich in spices and flavors. As a starter i had the Samoa chaat which was equally yummi. They also the a vegan version of a mango lassi (with almond milk instead) and it was perfect since it wasn't too sweet as other shakes i had before. You can choose between a couple of currys with different spiced rice and naans. Try it!"
