Have eaten here a few times. A little on the expensive side unless you go for their set meals. Get atmosphere, cosy, beamed pub. Waitress rather sharp in her attitude and disappointed that salad was not an option instead of vegetables- so no side dish given. Problems with obtaining extra bread for starters too. Visited lots of times and always been pleased until Saturday evening.. My son forgot his ID and even though he didn’t expect an alcoholic drink the bar staff and manager were very off hand to the point of rude. Food average burger undercooked and old salad (wilted). No one asked if we would like any sauces etc. No waitress assigned to our table. Very dissatisfied overall. read more.
