What Peter Layton doesn't like about Golden Fish:
I have been buying Haddock and chips most weeks over the last 6 months. The quality generally has been very good. Unfortunately yesterday the quality was very poor. The haddock was barely cooked with very soggy batter. The chips were very small peices and surprisingly very gritty almost like there was sand in them! Service: Take out read more.

"There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. "Unfortunately the staff have been rude every time I've visited. Whether it is on the phone or in person they are rude and aggressive. Unfortunately they don't have masses of competition which is why people have to put up with it. Over the lockdown period the way they speak to potential customers has been appalling."
