Amazing Teppan yaki experience. Mikasakaikan is a very traditional restaurant so they have very traditional vibe as their ambience. Pricing for lunch was abt ¥5,000-7,000 per person and fairly reasonable. Unlike Benihana, chefs are actually very quiet and less entertaining but you would definitely enjoy the quality of food. Perfect spot for family, friends and date as well. Great for all occasion. View all feedback.

4/5 food, rushed through if I’m honest (3/5 total). However, when the bill comes be prepared for 20% charges (tax and service) on top, even though service was never charged on us anywhere in the rest of Japan (3 weeks, 5 cities). Tax on top was levied in some places but the vast minority (and they show after tax price in addition where applicable). €450 for two with a bottle of wine is excessive where you think it’s €370. Leaves a bitter taste.
