"So, in the manor shop we were given vouchers for ice-tea with our purchases. Then we went up to the top floor, to the restaurant. The ice-tea was free and very nice and there was a choice of flavour! I also had a brownie and my sister bad a plum cake which was also nice!"

"We've been craving some authentic Thai food for a while since arriving in Switzerland and whenever we asked the locals where to have it at, they always recommended this particular restaurant. It may be small but it is run by friendly Thai people who can...speak both Deutsch and English. Highly recommended for the service and the food which tasted amazing. Very authentic. Prices are really okay for Swiss standards."

"We did intend to eat in a more traditional Swiss restaurant, but have done that plenty of times and just liked the vibe of Calanda. It was busy and bustling. My wife had a vegan curry which she said was excellent and I went for...the Postplatz burger. I know a little bit of a boring choice going for a burger but sometimes that's what you're in the mood for and I didn't regret it! Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was amazing too! In particular, our waitress who was slim with shirt blonde hair and tattoos. She was brilliant. It may not be a traditional Swiss restaurant but you just have to look at how busy Calanda is to see that it's doing something right. I would definitely go back! Oh and good local beer too. Funnily enough, called Calanda!"

"It was my first visit to Gansplatz and I enjoyed a quick and good unpretentious dinner. The restaurant is located in the Old Town a 15 minute walk from the railway station. The dining room is typically Swiss and picturesque. There were many regular guests that...evening and the tenant welcomed each of them individually. As newcomer, I felt slightly neglected at first; however service improved quickly with the tenant also stopping by my table and staff being friendly and efficient throughout the entire meal. As starter the pumpkin soup was well flavoured and revigorating. As main course the house specialty is Cordon Bleu in seemingly endless varieties! I opted for the Älpler Cordon Bleu with local Grison cheese: quite tasty and not greasy at all. If you still have room for a dessert, I definitely recommend the Apfelküchlein fried apple rings served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Really to die for! Along with Riesling wine and mineral water, the bill was at Swiss city standards CHF82.00."

"This restaurant has good food and a wide array of tasty drinks. Declaration of what is in the food is very well shown in the menu card, that its easy to see what to choose if one is vegan or gluten intolerant. The price range...is fair, as we are in Switzerland : . They serve smaller portions for children at a fair price and are very friendly. I especially like their cold organic drink choices from iced tea to lemonades. The seating area is cozy under the trees and cool even on hot summer days and is quiet even if it a stone throw away from the train station."
