Fishers Fish&chip from Churchtown Menu

What User doesn't like about Fishers Fish&chip:
This place was OK. I thought it would be better given the reviews but I found it bland and the service was slow. I could hear the chef grunting when I changed my order from salad to chips which was awkward as the place was empty! I was over charged, which I didn’t see until I got home. It wasn’t terrible but I also wouldn’t go back. read more.

"Booked table for small wedding celebration. Made booking 4 weeks ago. Specified requirements and assured that they could be allowed . Called into restaurant a week ago to confirm booking and go over arrangements. Was assured again. Rang the evening prior to wedding to add guest and was told they had no booking . I was quizzed and given excuses about staff taking orders without checking with management. I was made to wait and then told the booking was ok but the other arrangements not possible. When I insisted I was told they would ring back but 3hrs after my original call I have no information and I when I asked for the managers number I was refused. After being a customer for many years , sometimes more than once a week I am shocked . Will never go again"
