What AlecW likes about Beach Babylon:
Great service and loads of GF options on the menu. The staff (owner? made it very clear that they couldn't guarantee the food was 100% coeliac safe, but hey, no one can in reality. I had the pork belly main, and an apple pear crumble which were both delicious. If I had to be picky, I could say the pork was a bit tough, but that would be being very, very picky. I ordered the Persian Eggs, which were specified on the menu as being GF. We also informed the server I was a coeliac. When the meal arrived there were no eggs on the plate. We were informed the chef had made an error and made the dish vegan friendly, substituting avocado for eggs. The server doubled checked with the kitchen to confirm the dish was still gluten free. I live locally and have been here probably upward of 15 times. They are knowledgeable, have good contamination control, great vegetarian selection, and yum food...
