Coffee is awesome and very reasonably priced great to get local business discount. Arguably the best cheese scones in Wellington and the best cheese scone I've ever had. Very popular cafe at the base of my work building. Always busy and vibey. Lovely layout and decor. Can be a bit cold in there with all the glass windows. Service is generally friendly and quick. Nice cafe with good selection of food, beverages and ambience. Strategically located in Pipitea area, we came here for lunch. I have souvlaki, the French soup, cheese scones and hot chocolate. The souvlaki is super good and the cheese scone is tasty and warmly toasted. They also have pies, quiche, panini, bagels, croissants and desserts. The space is big and airy, with comfy tables and chairs. There is ramp for those with wheelchairs as well.

The food is varied and delicious. More a home made vibe than mass manufactured pies and so on. Cheese scones are yummy and actually cheesy. Lovely hot and fresh from the turbo toaster with lashings of butter. Coffee is top notch.
Quiche was excellent and nicely heated and prepared (not just microwaved). Coffee met usual Wellington high standards.
Another hidden gem of a Cafe off Molesworth Street, in the old DIA building ground floor. The coffee is strong and consistently good. Food options including daily fresh fluffy cheese scones are excellent. Healthy options are also available from helpful staff. Prices are very reasonable.
