One of my go to places. Love their food especially their pies and donuts! Also make really good coffee. I wish the place had a bit more space and less crowded....

So many delicious looking doughnuts! Allergy friendly cabinet options too which was good. Reasonably priced. Lots of yummy smoothie options too. Would recommend...

"We have been going to Pandan since they were in Tawa. As a family who love Malaysia and local food, this restaurant is better than local Malay, we feel so lucky they are only 20 main away from Johnsonville. We celebrate as many of our family occasions here that we can. From the goat curry, to the claypot fish, it is all a heavenly delight. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40"

"An amazing boardgame cafe/restaurant. Been there a couple of times (once on a double date and the second time with my boardgame savvy 4 yo). A lot of boardgames, nice selection. We enjoyed the chicken burger but the venison burger was quite dry. I can see us returning many times in the future."

"We had a lovely lunch here. Staff were very good. Great seat by the window looking at the sea. Food was delicious and beautifully presented . Mushroom pate was yummo. Pork belly was cooked perfectly with tasty accompaniments . A great plant based menu. Hubby enjoyed the salmon . Pancakes went down well."

"Hands down the best place in Petone for dinner! The restaurant has an Italian marketplace feel to it and has produce for sale as well. We had the pumpkin ravioli and seafood risotto, with olives and bruschetta to start. Everything was flawless and absolutely delicious!! Authentic Italian flavours, took me back to being in an Italian summer.. The customer service was also on point! They had a delicious range of desserts I’ll be back to try! Don’t miss this one"

"I really enjoyed my dining experience at Monsoon Poon for my Anniversary with my partner. Friendly and professional service. Even when they were busy the wait for a table wasn't too long. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The firecracker chicken is no joke, quite spicy and I love spicy food. My girlfriend had the pork and we shared stuffed roti bread and fried squid tentacles. They all tasted great and I don't know what sauce they had but it was awesome. Also we tried the Mr. Miyagi, Monsoon Punch and a coffee cocktail and they were all well made and tasted great. Highly recommended and look forward to returning there."

"Nice place, food was lovely..entrees on the expensive side but nice all the same. Prawn ravioli was delicious as was the beetroot tartare, both good size portions as well. Beef Wellington and Poussin dish very good, Fish dish was slightly overcooked but I ambeing a bit picky but tasty all the same. Not a cheap option, total $270 for 3 entrees, 3 mains, 2 glasses wine and a lemonade..wouldn't take children but nice setting and food for that special dinner out."
