"Great place. I had vegetarian fajitas and mango juice. all very tasty and good quality. the ravioli also looked very tasteful. the prices are slightly higher than average in minca (I paid a total of 26k), but the quality is worth it."

"I couldn't get my head completely when the site said it was 45 minutes walk from where you were thrown off to get into the cabins, but that's exactly what they thought. We booked a car from Santa Marta and it took about an hour to get to the entrance of the National Park. Our taxi has taken us off at the entrance and we had to take our luggage to the processing area that was just off the entrance. Unfortunately, we had a fair amount of luggage, as we drove to Cartagena after the park, so we had to bring everything. After we showed our passports and booking form, we were shown a transport car that finally brought us the 10-minute drive to the horse camp. The men there load all the luggage in canvas bags and belt them to the horses. You then take the camp along the horse route and we were directed to the hiking trail. I had worn long pants and runners when I knew we would go and I was glad that I did it because although the walk was not difficult, it was uneven earth and some of our party got mosquitoes. On the way we saw some of the local monkeys of the park. One of them was quite outraged when we looked at him and started to take small branches off and throw them to us what was funny. The rest of the time was spent in beautiful forest environment in sunken paths. We came to the grounds about 50 minutes later and were shown to our Ecohab. This was spacious with a bedroom upstairs that had an open front that could be closed at night. Our two sons were down in a twin room and with the only bathroom. The cabin was usually clean, but dust came due to the open nature of the upper floor, but we were all right with it. The restaurant on site was better than I expected and had a good selection of menus. The food was good, but not great, but given its remote location I was more than happy. Breakfast was served and was delicious and plentiful. Then there were the beaches. Wow, what can I say the beaches were spectacular. You can go on a walk that takes you past 4 beaches until you end about an hour later, where all young people are and it is busy. Nice to see it, but my favorite was the one closest to our camp, who was beautiful and where to swim. We enjoyed three days there and were blown away from the beauty of the place. The forest crashes into the sea and it is very innocent. The Ecohabs were expensive for what they were, but it was a unique experience. There was a very well furnished campsite next to our cabins where tents could be rented and there was a building that had hammocks with mosquito nets that you could rent for very little money and lockers where you could store your stuff. The weather was amazing and I would recommend to everyone to go."

"We went for a day trip to Playa Salguero and had a late lunch here. We ordered the fish soup and grilled sea bass and both were reasonably priced and delicious. They even called a cab for us at the end of our meal!"
