What User likes about Goose Elder:
For the most part, this is comfort food, but it is the best you will ever have. Name any dish you think a restaurant in the city does best...then try it here. GE has the single best fried chicken. Perfectly madeseasoned and still great if you have some left over and eat it cold the next day. Reviews of place were good, so we deicide to visit on New years eve. I ordered the Royale Goose, a grass-fed burger, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, dijonaisse, sesame seed bun. My wife ordered Duck Leg Confit. We had high hopes only to be very disappointed. Food we so greasy, extremely bad. We finished our cocktails and departed. Never again. View all feedback.
The food was very good, just a bit on the salty side. My only problem was with the service. We ordered coffee and were never asked again if we wanted a refill....
