The menu is very vegan-friendly, and our server was very well known friendly. I had the mexi bibimbap that was great. Actually, it could have more taste, but the portions were absolutely huge. most places slashed on tofu, but lalo did not what was fantastic to see. the dip of chips sampler has 3/4 vegan sauces, the mild hot (not spicy enough) salsa, and the guave are vegan as-is. updated by previous review on 2022-03-21
Here. google had a statement that read “busier as usual” not sure what it was about, because when I came in there was only another table. friendly service. bright room. table and barbecue are available. latino music in the background. Apart from the menu I have not seen much of an Asian influence in the decorations or music. Vegan foods are easily identified on the menu. they could make a better job by making vegan cheese and vegan sose options. I started with the homemade Chunky-Guac. chips were made in the house, crispy and tasty. guac was fresh and delicious. beautiful portion size for two people. the server recommended the mexi spicy miso ramen court and I am glad that I did not argue with her. it comes with tofu, kale, mais, mushroom, pico de gallo. Make sure to remind them to remove the egg. the rarm was full of taste and had a nice kick on it. the dish was also a very nice portion size and enough to fill it. I would come back to try other vegan dishes.
Lalo is in the city and not in otr. not sure whether there is much traffic, but there are some good options. the bibibap, padthai and bean mushroom quesadilla are really good. you have to subdue but they are aware of what is vegan. I usually replace everything nonvegan by avocado. I forget when they charge. the aromen are great and this restaurant is in my rotation.
We had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Our server was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that our drinks were always full and that our food was served properly (taking into consideration our allergy at the table). The bartender was also friendly and engaged with our table. The atmosphere was great and the food fusions were unique. We definitely want to come back here!
