"It honestly pains me to write this review because I/we love their Madisonville location always a 5 star experience. We came here for Mother's Day and their 4 year anniversary. It was our first time at this location, but we decided to make the drive and give it a try due to the special menu we live closer to the Madisonville location. I feel like people were just as friendly and the service just as good. The food was below their standard at the other location and I thought the portion/cost for the menu was sub par. The porchetta was dry, the exterior was not crunchy like porchetta should be but leathery, and it was not filling it did have decent flavor. The asparagus was cooked just right not overcooked and still some snap. It was $19 for that plate pictured, not including a tip. I would have expected another slice? Or maybe add something else to go with it like potatoes or bread. My father had the classic breakfast which was $16 and it looked quite a bit more filling. The rhubarb danish I had that day was also a little off. The custard was a bit eggy both texture and flavor. Again, disappointing because items like their Pain aux Raisin and their Olive Oil Cake have been great. Coffee was still good, but I think we had expected ceramic ware like the other location. However, we understood the convenience of disposables given most people were outside and it was quite busy. Unfortunate experience here, but that won't deter us from frequenting Madisonville."

"Our first time dining at Carlo and Johnny....it didnt disappoint!! Ashley was awesome! We will definitely be back!!! Everyone and I mean everyone whether they were our wait staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel right at home! Cudos to everyone!!!!! The butter pie should be outlawed lol. It was so delicious!!!"

"So I am a big jersey mike fan a once a week customer at least mostly anderson or blue ash happen to stop in this store very dissatisfied the fist thing out of the guys mouth was down talking to the other workers about not being able to work together, they were all working when I walked in that should have been a private conversation. I ordered my sandwiches and ask as I always do on the last sandwich to have the ham sliced very thin, he was so busy talking sports with they guy behind he did not do it and I said is that as thin as you can slice it ? (Knowing from my weekly stop it is not) he looks at me like how dare you ask that said yes went back to sports talk.So glad I won't be back to this store I will go where they treat me like a welcomed customer"

"UNFORGIVABLE in these times! Food was fine BUT THE CASHIER and NONE of the STAFF WERE WEARING MASKS or GLOVES. My Wife wore a Mask to pick up the Carry out. We are older so we?ll not be back soon."
