Burgers are delicious! We got the Aussie and DC burgers generous amounts of filling and we were told they made their own patties and sauces. Beer battered chips were fresh and crispy. We followed it up with the mango/berry mousse (light and fluffy) and the choc hazelnut dome (rich and chocolatety). What Enrique Bartoletti doesn't like about Dessert Castle:
Have been there for a couple of lunches - their burgers are OK but I'd steer clear of the fish and chips. Where Dessert Castle stands up for itself is though, is the flavours of their frozen yoghurt. The nutella, salted caramel, green tea and taro flavours beats anywhere else in Canberra (and on par with most Sydney places).

A very sad atmosphere. the aromas of frozen yogurt are average, with coffee-green tea combination is the worst. something overpriced for what it is worth. still a good place to hang out after dinner
Desserts burg fondues are so good! I was there today as it was, melin in mouth good! if u guys ever go there get a fondue coz they r amazin the rest of the tasty are also good) nikita. h
There were a few lunches, the burgers are in order, but I would clearly steer the fish and chips. where this dessert castle stands for itself, are the aromes of their frozen yogurt. the mussels, salted caramel,- green tea and taro aromas beat everywhere in canberra (and on par with most sydney places.)
It is a beautiful and quiet place when they feel like a drink or dessert. the crêpes are surprisingly pretty..often not expect the thin French style crêpes, but the crêpes taste pretty good. large selection of cakes and drinks to choose from plus frozen yogurt when they feel like it
After all the razzle dazzle and hype, we were disappointed by the atmosphere, selection and quality of desserts on offer. Almost all were of a rich chocolate mousse variety... Sadly the mousse were dense and overly rich, not light and airy. The chocolates were over-chilled, so the textures in the few we sampled were lost in fudgy chewiness.
