We ate here on a Saturday night, booking was actually changed by a fortnight due to illness. The wonderful George, simply changed our dates and made us feel like nothing is too much trouble. I really wanted to like this place, it's local, the ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly but the food is only average at best. It's an Italian restaurant so you expect the star of the dish to be the pasta but I'm pretty sure it's the dried pasta you get from the supermarket and not even the fresh pasta you buy from Herdies, the sauce was pretty average too but the serves are huge.
