"A graduate-level course where no book (restaurant) is judged by its cover (entry). if they are looking for grandiose ambiente, eye-catching decor and average eating, they go somewhere else. when they eat more than the decoration, they put their forking phone down and go to talavera. they will not be disappointed. the proportions are typical American size, so they do not leave starving. when they get the nachos, ready to eat at home or come with an empty bauch and a joey Chestnut size appetit. their food is freshly prepared to order, and the ingredients are also fresh and tasteful. it is really a family business and operated business, and they are quite likely that the children are helped with their homework that is just an additional bonus. they can eat here and know that when they do, the money stays locally, and not to some huge business Q hundreds of miles away. if you've read that so far, why?"

"I've never deceived such an unprofessional restaurant in my life. We called today to deliver food, and they said I'm sorry. We live 6 miles from the place and she did it far. I told her that in the last 1.5 years we have delivered food with success, and tonight she said we're sorry we didn't deliever there. She yelled at me and hung up. Then I called back and now the story changed, she didn't have enough riders and hung up. I asked to talk to the owner and hang them up. She told me my order was 53.00 when the menu was 32.00. Seriously, what is wrong is this world. She lost me."

"We had dinner at Plated Saturday night, our first visit. The restaurant is beautiful. Angela and her staff were amazing as usual. The food was phenomenal. We had the calamari which was the best we ever had. We also tried the Mama Lucy and the Fettuccine Imperial. Outrageous to say the least. Portions are large enough for 2. We will be back for more!!"

"The owner is so nice to us. he taught my kids some science facts and made some jokes while serving them : He even convinced me to get my free sundae today because it was Wednesday, I wasn?t hungry, he said to freeze it and eat it some other time! "I've been eating here once, maybe twice a week since February. The bread is always fresh and warm, the house salad is always fresh, cold and crisp! I've only had a steak entree so I cant comment on anything else, but not one time has my steak been a disappointment! The management team, cooks and servers all deserve a big thank you for all the hard work you put in!! Don't change a thing! A wonderful place to eat! Steve"
