Found this place by surprise when going for a walk in Canandaigua. The tea shop owner was very knowledgable and gave us a good introduction to all the types of tea. I thought I would love to support a local tea shop. I've been ordering on line for years and it's so nice to smell tea in person. Unfortunately, the owner took all of the joy out of the experience. She rushed me and was extremely rude. I disliked the experience so much that I didn't even enjoy the tea I bought. read more.

"What a wonderful place. Staff was very prompt, courteous and friendly. Facility had a great feel to it, not super densely packed seating which made it comfortable. The superstar of course was the absolutely delicious food! I had the breakfast crepe with maple sausage, and shared the breakfast tacos. The apricot honey was remarkably good, creating a great balance of flavors. The crispy red potatoes needed NOTHING added to make them amongst the best potato side ever! The apple cider was top notch, great body, not too much spice, not too sweet. Cannot wait to visit this place again on a future trip!!"

"The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Jägerschnitzel, which came either a house salad, spätzle and red cabbage. My husband had the special, Shweinshaxe, with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Huge portions, and very delicious! Our waitress seemed to forget about us a few times, but was very sweet otherwise. We love the authenticity of this gem!"
