This is the bar I've been looking for since I moved to Ithaca. The bartender is friendly and funny. Beverages are cheap (a rarety in this neighborhood), but there is still a large selection. The music game was great, and the game was on a big screen TV right behind the bar, although I still spent a lot of time chatting with the people next to me. I had a great time, and I'm glad to stop again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pete's Cayuga:
Loved this dive bar for a bit, but not the older bartender who consistently sexually harasses women. A group of about ten friends and I were going to this bar several times a week for a few months, but most of us will not be returning until we/our friends can drink without the abuse. Back to the Chanti for better beers, better prices, way better music, and surly but respectful bartenders! View all feedback.
A male barista was rude and did not leave people for extra minutes
Great locals dive bar. Great bartender. Diverse crowd that seems to have everyone but college kids. Pool table in the back. Cheap drinks and chill vibe with a downloadable jukebox.
This is very nice little bar. Enjoy it before the hordes of students descend. Incredible bartenders.
You can't go wrong with one of the best bartenders in Ithaca (SEAN!
I travel a lot for work and I find myself in some awesome and interesting places. If you are in Ithaca and love dive bars like I do then this place is for you. Great atmosphere, calm quiet crowd and phenomenal drink prices on par with what I find back home. They have pool, pinball, beers and mixed drinks. What more could you want. Very local crowd and some great conversations were had. The bartender I had was fantastic asking what kind of day I was having and kept pouring the beverage! So glad I stopped in to this local spot.
