Taco Bill Mexican Restaurant

Went on half price night, Tuesday. Yes read views, but as we could, we did....Don't. Ok up front, literally, steps, not wheel chair friendly, narrow corridor and seating arrangement. Went literally today, cold in Melbourne, 9 c when we dined. Sat by front door, which was kept open majority of visit. In a corridor, near. / next to bar. Not exactly ideal for a table of 2. And was soooooo cold, advertised open warm fire....well we certainly didn't see or feel such warmth. Greeting from staff warm, and despite previous reviews ordering and meal arrival relative quick. Food,....bland at best. Presentation, ...I'm sorry, but it looked like it was fresh....at some point, then reheated to meltingly hard...hot plate, but food actually cold. No spice definition, and couldn't tell difference between beef and chicken navero. Place was busy, even at 7pm on a Tuesday. I'd recommend a pizza and a movie rather than re heated food. I generally try to look on positive , but I'm struggling here. I've had worse,....then again...I've had a hell of a lot better in a more pleasant environment (ie not frozen to death). Takeaway...maybe??? But in general, go down Springvale rd and get some really good Asian. Don't waste your hard earned coin.

Not my closest taco bill but was meeting a friend after work. When i first arrived i did think lets go somewhere else. Looks like a real run down place. But once i entered i was surprised. The food was really good and excellent customer service. It was really busy as it was half price main night(monday) but there was plenty of staff and we were never waiting long to get service.

We were a group of three adults, went on a Sunday night in September. Staff were attentive, meal was really nice and it was a pleasant night. The only negative is the place needs a renovation.

My family live near this restaurant ..Whenever I'm in Melbourne visiting them we always have a night there ..Great fun atmosphere , balloons for the children , stick on moustaches for us all .The staff are very nice and welcoming ..service is good ..And as for the food ...what more can I say than absolutely fantastic !!!!

I've been coming here for at least ten years and honestly it is very hit and miss, sometimes you get fantastic food and other times it is average.The service can be quite slow, however it really depends on what night you go!I keep coming back to this place as I'm always hoping it's going to be one of the 'good' nights where we get good food and great service. Overall I'd recommend eating here on the half price nights, that way if the food isn't amazing, it hasn't cost you a lot of money for the experience.
