"We ordered coffee and the special French Toast with banana & berries $17 (& bacon - extra $5????) Coffee was great and pretty fast considering queue. The French Toast while tasty was overpriced - 1 small slice of bread and definitely not $5 worth of bacon - not even one full rasher! Pretty disappointing, other items on regular menu looked great but seriously would expect more than 1 piece of bread for $22...."

"The Joyless kitchen - It's company policy!”<br> <br> The only enjoyable part of the evening was the waiter who tried very hard to please. We even thought he had a good sense of humour but later realised it was actually because he misunderstood us. The main issue was over corkage. I was dining with my 2 children and we had decided to go to a different restaurant which charges $2 per person corkage and I know their wine list is limited so was happy to pay the corkage. It turned out the restaurant was closed despite their website saying otherwise so we chose The Joy Kitchen instead. I left my pre purchased wine in the car knowing they were licensed. Upon discovering there is only one SSB and one Chardonnay on the menu I asked if I could bring in my own wine to which the response was "yes, but that will be $8 corkage" for one person drinking. When I objected that if they want to charge that amount for corkage they need to offer a better per glass selection the waiter said... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"
