The food was excellent, we ordered the flat iron steaks with the truffle mac and cheese and green salad as sides, they also gave us a complementary creamed spinach that was also excellent. The bearnaise and peppercorn sauces were both delicious and were a great complement to the meat. Despite it being very busy, the staff was very attentive without being pushy and made sure we enjoyed our food and experience. The ros... View all feedback.
What Irena T doesn't like about Flat Iron:
Came here because it was highly recommended by friends and Yelp. For a group of 4 we waited about 30 minutes on a Thursday night at about 9 PM. We got the regular flat iron steak and a Scottish bavette to compare. We also got the mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, chips, and spinach. The steaks were cooked correctly (medium well), but I wish they weren't so tough and chewy. It didn't help their knife was so unbeli... View all feedback.
It's one of the best steakhouses in London. I tried the wagyu sirloin steak with the beef dripping fries. It was one of the best things I have eaten. The staff are also very lovely, they do banter a lot which is something I like.
Flat iron steak was delicious, medium is recommended. Thanks for the ice cream offer.
Highly recommend we split a steak because I wasn’t hungry enough for an entire one myself, and it worked perfectly. Sides were honestly better than the steak truffle Mac’n’cheese and fries were great, and the mushroom sauce was worth trying. Non traditional margaritas but tasty. We reserved a table for 2 about a month before visiting the wait outside when we arrived was around ~55 minutes, so definitely plan ahead of coming here. The included popcorn and ice cream were lovely add on’s :
This is a restaurant worth stopping by at least once during your trip to the UK. The seasoning or seasoning of the food is not particularly strong or suits your taste and is delicious. A uniquely shaped knife is provided to cut the steak, which can be purchased at a separate cost. The amount of side dishes other than steak is not small, so if you go with a group of people who don't have a lot of food, it doesn't seem necessary to order everything according to the number of people. The purchased knives are placed in a cloth case and individual box, but depending on the store's circumstances, you may receive them in bulk. The ice cream provided for dessert is delicious, so don't forget to eat it. It seems like there are fewer people than when it was popular, but reservations are a must. If your reservation has expired, other branches besides the Soho branch are within reach by public transportation.
Very nice concept, loved the simplicity and the drinks
