Not been for a while but was pleased to see that standards are as high as ever. The menu is well thought out with both traditional and modern dishes. Service is first class and the person who looked after us knew the menu and wine...list inside out. House wines are excellent and you won’t go wrong with any of them. Highly recommended. read more.

I have a nostalgic soft spot for Davy’s bars and the subterranean, old school, conspiratorial vibe. You can also always get a very good rare roast beef sandwich. However, it’s been many years since I have been the only woman customer in a busy bar/restaurant....Quite odd. I wonder if this place can survive once the city dinosaurs retire and how it will rejuvenate. read more.
