This was the second Pizza Express that we ate at as a bus tour was ending. This is off James Street which is off Oxford Street for any who are interested. Lots of restaurants on James Street. We found the pizza good and the beer cold. Could not ask for more. This is near the (Thistle) Amba Hotel Marble Arch for those interested. read more.

The place is really nice and in a great location. We sat in the outside area which is nice as you don’t get cold because of the heated lamps. I tried the carbonara and, as an Italian, I can confirm that it’s extremely far from the Italian version and the dish should change name as a consequence. "My first taste of Aperol happened in Venice, extremely appropriate given Aperol’s Italian heritage. Topped with soda and gazing out on Venice’s intricate, windy cobbled streets, this bright drink has the power to transport me right back. View from the Grand Canal. "I brought my colleagues as a treat for their hard work. We had no problems getting a table and the service was excellent as always. I love the vesper martini's and the way a white jacketed waiter wheels a trolly over to make your martini in front of you, exactly to your liking. Well worth a visit if you are in the area"
