If you are looking for a great breakfast place in Brixton village , go there. The place offer middle eastern food with an emphasis ob brunch breakfast. The coffee was great and so was the food . We tried the yogourt with granola blueberries , the wide breakfast and the spinach with home smoked mozzarella, poached eggs Hollandaise sauce : all dishes were delicious. We were warmly welcomed at this café and seated promptly. The menu is simple yet appealing. The coffee was exceptional, which is quite a compliment as it can be difficult to find good coffee in London. I ordered a mozzarella, basil, and tomato on sourdough toast. While the sourdough was a bit tangy, it was thinly sliced and only one piece. It was topped with cold tomato slices and mozzarella, with a small garnish of basil on top. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting and wasn't very filling, but for only £18 for two coffees and two meals, you get what you pay for.
The food was good, but the service I received outweighed this element. first, the completely false court was brought out for me. everyone makes mistakes and I hate eating so wasting (to be helpful and make the things easier for the personal) I told the waiter that I would only keep the court as it was already prepared, but I was then, surprisingly, the price of the second plate (which was more expensive than my actual ordering) when I pointed out, the waiter did not look happy but brought me a new one. Not especially an exciting brunch menu, but the actual menu is all about Mediterranean mezzen and small teller. zelt for the wild breakfast, which is essentially its typical speck, is on toast. substantially enough, but didn't enjoy how fat everything was. instead take her brot and croissants.
After a bit of a wait (which caused us to miss our cinema plans), we were served small falafel patties on a bed of seasoned yogurt. The falafel was piping hot and bursting with fresh, green, herby flavors, particularly parsley. It was a tasty dish that we enjoyed immensely.
Recently, my family visited me in London for the weekend, giving me the chance to introduce them to some of my favorite local food spots. Just a 10-minute walk from my place, Brixton Village and Market Row is a covered arcade filled with market stalls, shops, eateries, and bars. It may come as a surprise, but Brixton has a wide variety of culinary options to offer. While it's tempting to indulge in the jerk chicken, don't forget to also try an Honest Burger with a side of rosemary fries or a deliciously affordable sourdough pizza from Franco Manca.
