It’s good to know that some of these good old English pubs still exist in London. A good pint was all we had but next time might have some food. Lovely place for people watching right on the corner View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ye Grapes:
baked kartoffels, roasted chicken with steamed vegetables, chicken saturation and fish and chips. the fish was high. chicken satay was good. the roasted chicken was dry and damp. the breast was dry, but atn and upper legs were good. View all feedback.
Ye grapes is one of several good old real ale pubs in the shepherd market and serves both traditional British pub duck and Thai food in its small dining room above. Thai food is simple, tasty and pretty good. there is a lunchtime special: every starter and main course for £8.95 (add £1 for a seafood, garnish or duck main course); it is a fairly short menu with all usual suspects such as red or green curry with sweet, meat or seafood and nudel options. there are only a few tables, so the booking before the website is recommended. My wife visited with friends before, who also recommended this place. English pib downstairs Thai restaurant upstairs...What not to like??! Really lovely service. Great food wonderful atmosphere. Definitely coming back again...with MORE family/friends!
