Solid bagel spot with plenty of other breakfast and lunch options. Nicer and more modern than the typical hole in the wall bagel stop-in. Pretty on par price-wise for the area. View all feedback.
What A S doesn't like about Gourmet Bagel:
2 stars exclusively for the price. We got two bagels and nothing else: one with lox and one with whitefish spread. The total: $36.I had to ask them to double check the price multiple times because I just couldn't believe it.The bagels alone cost less than $2, but the spread cost $14-17. It's really insane and not obvious pricing. You order first, so you don't know how much you're going to be charged until your luxury bagels are already made.As for the bagels, they were fine. Good. The service was fast. The people were nice. It was not worth $40. It tasted the same as your typical bagel anywhere else, but cost literally double.
They serve you quickly, and the food is excellent. Great staff. I eat breakfasts and lunches here. There's some tables in the back, and counter seating by the door. Prices are pretty good as well.
I love this place. Bagels are always good and the black coffee is outstanding. One of my favorite plain black iced coffees around
It's always a nightmare walking into this place. There's no organization, and the workers certainly don't care to help you figure out what the hell is going on.Also... $13.50 for a bagel sandwich? Hahahaha y'all are crazy for that one. Get fucked :
Good place to grab some bagels and take them to Central Park to enjoy them! They tasted good and bagels were soft and warm. Staff was also nice
