I came to New York to visit my family and looking for a good place for breakfast, I found this place on TripAdvisor. I walked 50 minutes through Central Park to eat here, and the walk was worth it. Clean place, with very nice staff, and exquisite bagels !! View all feedback.
What Nicholas doesn't like about H H Bagels:
This is extremely disorganized — they take orders in the line when you don’t have time to figure out what there is, and then wouldn’t give me the sausage that I ordered, and also wouldn’t give me a refund for the sausage they wouldn’t give me despite having a receipt. and then forgot the coffee requiring me to stand in line again. O my goodness, My Husband and I went here for breakfast the entire time we were in this area. I had a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and Oh my goodness, worth it. Bagel was as big as my face, I asked for strawberry cream cheese, my favorite on bagels at home. I fell into food heaven bliss and totally gave up on any kind of dieting on my Vacation. My Hubby fell the Italian meat sub sandwich, May have name wrong, sry, but he ordered it for breakfast our 3 days there too. Wonderful and fresh a must try for everyone.
We ordered several different bagel sandwiches this morning, all were AWFUL. The bagels taste hard, dense and stale. Nothing warm , and they are basically inedible when not toasted. I also did not care for the sausage in the SEC sandwich. Even my kids didn't like the bagels. Super disappointing (and expensive).
