Really kind service. I enjoyed most of the dishes. When I ordered the chicken korma and it came out prepared way differently than expected, the man who I assume to be the owner came out and swapped dishes for me, no charge. Overall, some dishes satisfy more than others, but it's a pleasant, fair experience with a nice lunchtime deal. $20 for daal, appetizer, main dish, rice, and naan. Cool! read more.

The food here is a heart attack waiting to happen. I ordered the kerala pepper chicken the other day and it was DRENCHED in oil. There was literally more oil than food. "I checked out Covenhoven with some friends on a Friday afternoon/evening while visiting Brooklyn. This is a happening little spot with a wide selection of beers on tap and in a large refrigerator for purchase. So many options to choose from and I enjoyed looking through the fridge section for the wild and quirky beers I've never heard of before. It was fun sitting out on their outdoor courtyard. There's some basic pub fare food as well if you get hungry. I would definitely stop back in again."

I order the creme brulee flavor mainly and my daughter loves the cookies and cream w/soy milk.
