What User likes about Shopsin's General Store:
Probably my favorite pancakes in all of nyc. Cute little spot tucked inside the Essex market. No reservations here you have to stand in line to wait for a table. It’s my go to place for brunch in the winter as their line is indoors. Their menu is insanely long, so while you’re likely waiting in line to be seated, you can browse (and be overwhelmed) by their extensive menu. Be prepared for a slower meal as the kitchen... What User doesn't like about Shopsin's General Store:
Shopsins has creative pancake flavors, but fundamentally, the pancakes aren't impressive. They're not very fluffy, nor do they have a crispy exterior. And the specialty flavors aren't strong enough. Pretty disappointing experience given the price. View all feedback.
