"A graduate-level course where no book (restaurant) is judged by its cover (entry). if they are looking for grandiose ambiente, eye-catching decor and average eating, they go somewhere else. when they eat more than the decoration, they put their forking phone down and go to talavera. they will not be disappointed. the proportions are typical American size, so they do not leave starving. when they get the nachos, ready to eat at home or come with an empty bauch and a joey Chestnut size appetit. their food is freshly prepared to order, and the ingredients are also fresh and tasteful. it is really a family business and operated business, and they are quite likely that the children are helped with their homework that is just an additional bonus. they can eat here and know that when they do, the money stays locally, and not to some huge business Q hundreds of miles away. if you've read that so far, why?"

"Bee sting pizza was awesome! The crust was incredible, crisp and tasty, and the flavors spot on. Gorgonzola walnut salad had lovely fresh lettuce with delightful toppings. Highly recommend. Favorite meal of our trip (and we had some good ones!"
