Elegant, low-key Italian restaurant off the beaten path. Very comfortable and our server Jocelynn was so friendly and accommodating, with a thorough knowledge of the menu. Excellent all around! View all feedback.
What P Gomes doesn't like about Fortuna’s Banquets:
The Alfredo was dry and barely had any sauce. The raviolis didn’t have any flavor either, wasn’t cheesy. If I’m being completely honest the pasta sauce was the plainest I’ve had. Maybe it’s because I took it to go it was poorly made but the flavor ain’t there. The plainest Italian food I’ve tried. I agree with the other 1 star reviews. Tasteless. View all feedback.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner while we were visiting Niagara Falls. Our waitress was very nice, didn’t give her name but she was very accommodating. We ordered two diet cokes, which we learned were a local cola and it had the tendency to taste flat. We asked for two iced teas instead. We that ordered the calamari starter, it was so chewy and was drenched in sauce making it a bit soggy. For our main meals we ordered chicken parm and fra diavolo with shrimp and scallops. The chicken parm was pretty lack luster. The cutlet was tasteless and had a weird consistency in some places. The sauce tasted like something out of a can, very disappointing to say the least. The shrimp fra diavolo was so incredibly spicy I literally had three bites and could not eat anymore. Our waitress was very kind about it and offered me another look at the menu, after a quick glance I decided I didn’t want anything and we paid out bill and left. It was quite a disappointment, wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
