"Stopped in today while checking out the very awesome tunnel and picked up lunch for the 5 of us: fried egg sandwiches, a sub, a doughnut, a cookie and a piece of carrot cake for lunch. Everything was delicious and the service was lovely highly recommend."

"Loves this restaurant! husband and wife, owned and operated. I had the seafood linguini and got a whole lobster dick with my meal. the sauce was much easier than I expected, but exactly what I was hoping for. for the lovers of craft beer they have perth brewery on tap and a great selection of beer in doses. we all enjoyed our meal and hospitality. I'll eat there again."

"First off, our barman/server/waiter was a gem. Affable, friendly, attentive, and it was just him serving everyone in the place. It wasn't too packed for a Sunday night, a couple of other families eating and some couples at the bar, but he (despite being the only front of the house staff) stopped to chat with everyone and was gracious and attentive. Service was top notch. Unfortunately, the kitchen couldn't live up to the staffing experience. Kids meals were free with and adult entree, and despite the massive size of the burger and overall quantity of food for our little one, beef was quite dry. Someone really wanted to make sure that it was cooked - and they succeeded! The shrimp scampi was average flavour, but quite gummy. The special - a steak on cheese garlic bread, topped with brushetta over promised, but under delivered. Steak was well done, not medium. Brushetta was barely seasoned. Garlic cheese bread and salad with balsamic was likely the save to balance out the blander elements. Best part of the menu? Dessert - rhubarb pie was flaky and warm, not too sweet or sour, and great a la mode.The drink selections are good, the service is great, but the food itself could unfortunately use some tweaks."

"Snugly nestled in a lovely heritage limestone building(my favourite kind), is this hopping little hotspot. Simply decorated and small, but warm and inviting-the funky owners are usually there-adding spice to the proceedings. The menu is simple traditional fare for a pub like this, but dont be fooled-there is some real flavour to the burgers et al. Small sit up bar, and a real cool buzz make this a must stop if you are in the area-even if your not, its well worth the drive. Reservations on the weekend are a must too-and be prepared to wait and savour the ambiance and alcohol, this is not a'fast' food establishment...enjoy!"
