I ate at subway which was right next to Tim Hortons in the parkway plaza , was a great sub made quick with friendly service too!

"We had the Pad Thai (without peanuts, allergy), Crispy pork with broccoli, Tom Yum soup, and steamed rice. Everything was very tasty. Pad Thai could have been a little less saucy sweet, with a bit more tamarind tang, and crispy pork could have been a bit less saucy so the pork stayed crispy longer, but overall we were happy with the taste. The main issue was the slow service. We showed up at about 6:30p, and the restaurant was about half full, but we waited about 40 minutes for our mains. They brought the soup out fairly quickly even though it was an add-on item, but there was a long wait for our mains. I saw at least one other table with a similar issue.Luckily, we weren't in a rush, and there's a lovely wall fountain/waterfall feature we could use to keep our little one entertained. The server apologized for the delay, and overall the experience and ambiance were pleasant, but speed should be taken into account."

"Traveling through the area I had hoped to find a nice pub to get some tasty food for my trip. I’ve never been one to shy away from the places that are off the beaten path because those are typically the places with the best...character! Unfortunately, this was NOT the case here. The place had one customer that was present when we walked in and that person, along with the waitress all stopped to stare as we walked in. I was uncomfortable enough to where I asked if they were open for business and if it was allowed to have children in their for lunch. We were assured it was on both accounts and we were seated at a dirty table. The waitress did not make any efforts to clean the table from the salsa left from the last patron nor did she remove from the table the napkins I used to clean the mess myself. Since we were in the middle of nowhere and no other option was in sight, the kids and I still ordered some food. We all wish we didn’t. The food lacked flavor, presentation and proper temperature. All I can say is that their location is the only thing that is keeping them in business. There is just no other real option around and the locals must not know any better. Don’t bother stopping here!"

"Came from Ottawa to eat here. Worth the trip. Fish was perfect. We had the large cod and large haddock. The only thing we miss was a box not accustomed to eating out of a bag. Too much for me to finish. Wonderful date day trip. Will definitely be back for more with our own picnic plates"
