Pleasant ambience, great personal service and excellent food, which is very favorable. We ordered two items from the menu and asked for something that was not on the menu was a traditional [non-American Chinese dish. The hot soup is probably the best I had. food was very good. however if you are black or brown this might not be the best place for you. we had to wait much longer than other customers to have our order taken. the wait staff would not approach us on their own and we had to specifically request they come over every time.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
Delightful! Very happy to have finally visited this place. Its old, the gardens are a bit wild and the interior is a few decades in the past. But if you want a New York City experience in Rochester, the food (what we ordered) definitely holds up. Will be returning. The glass noodles were perfect, the dim sum was made on site and even i went back for seconds on the chicken feet.
This is one spot that never fails. A wide variety of options all done well! Service is always quick and pleasant, with a warm atmosphere. Their Tom Yum soup (I always get shrimp) is a favourite that I get every time. Would reccomend visiting if you're in the area!Wheelchair accessibility: I have taken a resident here and it was not difficult to get them a spot! The sidewalk up is a bit bumpy, so come around from the parking lot.
Cashew Chicken was great. Loved the Steam pork buns and Shrimp Dumplings . This place is the real deal.
In a nutshell, I 'd describe everything as good, but not great. If you just want to stop someplace and get some food, this will be fine. If you 're looking for an over the top dining experience, I 'd guess you 'll be disappointed. The budda food shrine inside the restaurant near where you first walk in I liked, and it sort of raised my expectations. Service was good it was a little odd that the Crab Rangoon appetizer we got was the last dish delivered to the table, and that our entrees weren 't brought to the table at the same time; but that didn 't bother us.We specifically got one entree with the Xo sauce recently hearing this sauce is very flavorful and deeply umami, but we found the version we weee served very subtle. Not bad, just not what we expected.Parking: There is a small lot adjacent to the building, and parking on both sides of the street. We were there on a weekend night, so street parking was free at that day/time.
