"There is nothing negative to say about this restaurant. I came from out of town, was greeted with a warm ambiance and amazing smells in a family run setting. I was given thorough information about each dish I inquired about. The food itself was perfectly cooked and well seasoned and I was provided with generous portions of the wine, lamb meatballs, and spicy fig tagine I ordered. The restaurant owner was training a new chef in the kitchen. She was patient, thorough, and consistent which I am certain translates to quality and consistency of each prepared dish. The food heightened my overall experience of Schenectady and I encourage those who are able to try it to do so."

"Amazing authentic Mexican food! They have a great variety on their menu with reasonable prices. Imported sodas and Mexican beer. Clean environment and friendly staff. There is also a store front with imported candies, food, peppers, etc."

"Gershon's catered the post-wedding brunch that my husband and I hosted a few weeks ago! It was delicious! Gershon's delivered all of the food to my Aunt's house and set it up beautifully. The staff was so easy to work with and everything tasted amazing!!"

"Amazing place! First time to the Crossgates location. Salad bar was top notch, cold, fresh and clean. The selection and temperature of meat was spot on. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and polite (just a little soft spoken)! Coffee was hot and fresh. We decided against dessert this time but they looked delicious. We have told several friends already and will definitely be back."

"I discovered Kismet because I needed a reasonable, and delicious caterer for a 40th Anniversary party. We ate at the restaurant to test the foods and were wowed! The owner has been completely accommodating. I can't wait to serve this terrific menu to my guests."
