Sunday evening party to celebrate the last SUD night until December (renovations) filled the chicken with figs and plums. Absolutely super! Like her trio by Mini Desserts! Like the service. Besides the delicious food, the highlight was the entertainment! WOW! I think his name is Rafiel? ... The voice of this man... Both Latino and English... Just brilliant! Can't wait until December. Maybe it was an off night, but our dinner at Sud was bad news. My Greek salad had a puddle of water at the bottom of the bowl. The pasta ratatouille was tasteless. Specks of tomatoes, three garlic kernels, two still in their papery sleeves and two slices of eggplant adorned a pile of tagliatelle. "The best vegan sushi rolls I have ever had! The Crispy Vegetarian rolls (which are vegan) were delicious. Great setting with seating options inside and outside in the garden. Four vegan sushi rolls plus a vegan panini and other items which can be veganised. Very accommodating and lovely setting with a fab wine list. Totally recommend!"

"A fine essgemach in ojochal. when we first tried to eat there, they were completely booked — so we reserved for another day. I highly recommend a reservation as it is a popular place. maite, the hostess and our server were charming, attentive and hospitable. many thanks to them and the rest of their employees. the atmosphere is very romantic, great for a date night (I was with my parents! haha! eating is absolutely delicious and worth the price. a few of my recommendations: • salmon with dill fresh mushroom sauce • pasta stroganoff • fish fillet with garlic butter sauce with a side of the carrots • banana flambé (my mother said it was one of the best desserts she ever had) • brownie we also got the ceviche that was good (but not one of our favorite trips we had on the one. another thing I found interesting was a sign that they had in the bathroom (see the photo.) I thought that was something unique and very nice of them. pura vida!"

"I can't recommend this place enough. Their food is AMAAAZING, everything is prepared with care, and the service is wonderfully friendly. Cindy, who runs the show, is amazing. From their scratch made bread for all their burgers and sandwiches to their RIDICULOUS burgers the Los Laureles Burger and the Jack Daniels Burger are both spectacular there's nothing not to like about this place. My husband and I have been trying to work our way through the menu (we live about 30 minutes away) and we still have a few entrees to try we have been disappointed by NONE of it. Oh, and I finally tried the birria tacos last night and oh my god...that's going to compete with the Dynamite Shrimp for my favorite (so far) appetizer. Also, they take their time creating this amazing food. It's not pre made, and they don't just slap stuff together to get it out to you. You're on Tico time down here, guys. Sit back and enjoy."
