After long 10hrs flight with poor airline food, had a nice solo dinner here. The shrimp taco and arrachera were nicely done. Ambiance on a 10pm Sunday night was quite good too, with the locals streaming in even then. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Don Batiz:
The place is quite nice in a Mexican traditional style. The food is poor. Bad "enchiladas" bad "flautas" bad "alhambre". There are much better options in Polanco for this type of food. View all feedback.
The service here is attentive and friendly. The food was good (I had the seafood soup dish) but a bit pricey considering the simplistic recipe. Be aware that some dishes are rather large (mine could have served 2-3 people), so be sure to ask the wait staff about portion size.
Visited with friends. Excellent service, great food, and good selection of beer, tequila, rum, etc. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Mexican food in Polanco area. You can go for a stroll in the area, which is packed with restaurants.
