Muy mal para aparcar. Sitio de tapeo pero tambien buena carne. Pedimos tabla embutido y muy bien. Los bocatas flojos. Local agradable y buen trato

"Parador touring in Salamanca, Avila and Ciudad Rodrigo. While in CR the 2 places rated on Yelp were closed. We asked a nicely dressed local lady if she had any suggestions and recommended Meson El Charro, we called to make sure they were open and the owners wife (and cook) told us about the menu which sounded great. We were seated by her husband and went over the menu. They didn 't speak any English but they keep the menu updated completely in Spanish AND English. With a great tapas selection. The one curious lapse there 's no tortilla, I believe the cook has not had good luck in making them but I may have misunderstood the reason. Must eat tapas items: the croquettes, the empanadillas, mushrooms and jamon, and the flan(s) in tourron AND CHOCOLATE, easy to guess which I had. I heard from the hotel staff that their bar area is popular with the locals for watching soccer games. A great hole in the wall find."
