"We specifically went out of our way to eat there today (around 2:00-2:30) as our first time there, the service was great and the food was good. Today, however, was a totally different experience. The lady at the counter was not pleasant. We began ordering but after she continued to have an attitude and had rolled her eyes again I asked her if we were an inconvenience being there to which she replied with a stare down and simply told us it would be fine if we went somewhere else. There weren't any other customers and I greeted her kindly when we walked in. Praying that her day got better. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Food was great. Employees friendly. The only prob we had was when we inquired if we could get to go box for a 4 yr who didn't finish the only plate of food he ha, was informed they would have to weigh it and charge by the lb, even though we had already pd for his plate. I can understand if it was an adult but not a young child. They said if we wanted a takeout we could fix it, pay for it first. It's.not helpful for young children that doesn't eat much at a time."

"My family loves this place for a weekend breakfast trip! We are always happy with our order and the staff are always nice, even on times they may be understaffed. It is difficult to fit a large group here and sometimes there is a wait, but it is always worth it to us!"

"Stopped at Jack's in Clanton for lunch and as usual the food was great. I ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes gravy and green beans. It also came with a very large fluffy homemade biscuit. The pieces were very big and cooked perfectly. The crust was crispy and the inside meat was very juicy. My wife got the mushroom and Swiss Burger and really loved it. Their fries are the best of all fast food restaurants. Great value for money. Parking: Very large parking lot"

"Very good. I lived in some major cities and ate a lot of Mexican food. San Marcos is not the best, but it is pretty good for a small town. I've never had a bad meal. I really can't explain the terrible reviews, but think that my experience is a larger sample group. I probably ate there 10 times and it was always good. It is true that some of the waiters act as if you interfere with them by sitting in their section, but they always offer a good time service."
