"We were in Clarens for 4 days in total and ate here for 2 out of the 4, that in itself should tell you how amazing the food is!!! Service was average, atmosphere inside was not great, very loud and stuffy but eating outside was a much better experience and as stated above, the Amazing pizza made up for any shortfalls. A definite 10/10 for their pizza"

"Really good vibe, food and service. The steak literally melted in my mouth and the service was excellent. Live music adds to the ambiance of the place and even though we didn’t make a reservation they managed to get us a table"

"Decided to pop in at Clarens Brewery to sample some of the local beers. They have 2 different beer tastings at R25 each. A good idea to do this if you’re unsure what to try. We also had their pub lunch of 3x hard shell tacos and fish bites. Very tasty. The service was also very good and informative about the different beers. Definitely worth a stop when in town."

"Roter Hahn is by far my favourite restaurant in Clarens.<br/ I haven’t been able to decide on my favourite meal on the menu. I make a point of it to order something different every time we go and I have loved every meal. <br/ If you are just peckish, I recommend ordering one of their platters to share. Sitting on the deck sipping ciders, sharing nibbles and admiring the views is a fantastic way to appreciate life and the tranquility of Clarens.<br/ <br/ LOVE! LOVE the deli. Usually 3/4 of our bill"
