2nd time my Mum and I have stayed here in 5 years. We had the “park model”. Very peaceful environment. The cabin was clean, roomy, well stocked and cool. The beds comfy. Big porch to lounge on and watch the fire. Mama and Papa Doe and their daughter were very welcoming and helpful. Very good price for 3 days! Would absolutely recommend whether summer or fall to visit Cook Forest! 5 stars!!!.

The cabin my 3 kids and I stayed in was filthy. My smallest was crawling on the floor and got filthy dirty! There were cob webs on all the windows and dust on everything. When I confronted them about this the man was horribly rude. While his wife defended him, her husband checked the cabin and told me it was clean, yelling at me telling me cobwebs happen overnight.
