Delicious food, great menu, friendly service. BYO alcohol (no corkage). Had a great night out in this comfortable, clean restaurant. Some of the best curries I've had! View all feedback.
What Burley Stokes doesn't like about The Buddha Nepalese Restaurant & Cafe:
Unfortunately, this restaurant does not offer delivery to certain parts of Kenora, unlike other places. The management is unprofessional and there is a 50/50 chance of encountering an employee with a low IQ. View all feedback.

The pizza was delivered promptly and piping hot. My only critique would be that there was not enough sauce on it, making it very dry.
First visit there last night. Never knew it was there! But if you keep driving east along Ocean Keys Boulevard in Clarkson it is there on the left on a corner. Park outside the front door! The big open, spacious, well lit, colourful dining room stated 'Welcome" once through the door. The beautiful colour scheme of orange and matt white blocks of wall with cream, quality chairs and tables covered with crimson and white were totally appealing to the eyes. All those windows, wow, and the charming assortment of table clusters-it all flowed delightfully.Topped off with the smiling, happy faces and attention of the restaurant's staff, the food simply had to be 'something else'!We both love Indian food. Geographically, it and Nepal are neighbours. If some of the spices were similar it would be not unexpected. So many choices from the menu. Starters, mains with many specialties, favourite breads, rice, desserts. We came for spicy and 'different' flavours! And there were more and more flavours with every dish we ordered. Sometimes a recognizable one and, always, a most enjoyable blend of deliciousness! Each dish was brightly coloured and so attractive to look at. Eating while smiling is fun!! There was endless fun from the initial starter to the final prawn!!The table water was fresh, clean on the palate and brought on sitting at our table. The serves of food were generous so we were well satisfied after 2 shared starters and our own favourites for the mains. No space for any more!! Full.It is BYO with no corkage and there is a take away service. We left full and fully pleased with the unique tastes of this Nepalese restaurant. A very special experience because the food 'agreed' with my every requirement and the staff, especially the cook, did too!! Thank you, TBNRC. Please be around forever!!!
Great flavour and well priced. BYO restaurant where time is not important, you are not rushed and your food is well spaced out allowing you to enjoy your meal.
We ordered three dishes from The Buddha restaurant in Clarkson, and were very impressed with the quality of the food. We ordered Chicken Saag, Korma and Tandoori, with Pulao rice and a variety of naan breads. It was absolutely delicious, and there was enough for dinner the following night for us all as well. We will definitely go back there another time. The Chicken Saag was my favourite. Loved it!
