"The evening started off by us calling and asking how long the wait was for a larger party, was told no wait that the resturant was slow and half empty. We weren't even 10min away and when we got there they told us it would be over an hour and that theywere too busy. I know they don't do reservations but we were specifically looking for somewhere that didnt have an hour wait ona Wednesday night. We decided to wait since were all there anyway. Then to top it off the service sucked. We never receivedrefills on our drinks, I actually went up to the bar and asked for a couple waters and the bartender gave me a pitcher of water.Our waiter never checked on us and left the appetizer plates when he brought us our dinner plates, there was no room at thetable. We pretty much had to tell him what we needed him to do or it didn't get done. Definitely needs more training on how towait on customers. And if you are going to charge over $3 for a fountain drink you should get at least one refill. The food wasgood as always though."

"Kruse?s Deer Lake Inn has become my favorite restaurant in the area. They have some unique flavors (such as their current harvest salad that has candied pecans, apples, bacon, goat cheese, and a bacon vinegarette which sounds questionable, but is quite delicious). And everything on the menu is great and they have a great variety of dishes depending on what I?m feeling like (ribs, parmesan encrusted flounder, fish and chips, blackened chicken wrap, tortellini pasta with chicken and palomino sauce). They always have a good desert on the menu too (the four berry crisp is my favorite, and right now it?s apple crisp). Service has been downright amazing every single time I?ve been there, and management has been exceptional too."
