Great beer! Nice people! Sitting by water drinking beer is awesome! Love the Amber, apparently the first beer they brewed in their garage.

"The Happy Place is located on Highway 39N in Townsville, NC, on the Steel Creek Marina, and Hibernia or Henderson Point camp grounds, side of the Lake. It's a great place to meet up with friends or stop by before, during or after a trip to Kerr Lake. Outstanding service, kid-friendly, nice family atmosphere, delicious food and both hand dipped and soft serve ice cream, at reasonable price. Tipping is appreciated.I recommend the Philly Cheesesteak. hand-cut fries and a bannana spllit. A word to the wise, make sure to order your ice cream after you eat so you can fully enjoy your meal, without your ice cream melting.The Haopy place has a level, gtavel covered parking lot and have separate windows for ordering and pick-up. It helps when they are really busy, In the summer months. The picnic table area outside is quaint and gets plenty of shade. They also boast a sit-down restaurant with very much needed A/C, for cooling off with a meak and ice cream after a long, hot day at the lake.They are closed on Monday and Tuesday for a well deserved break.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly food with both hand-dipped and soft serve ice creamParking: The Happy Place has a large level,, gravel covered parking lot with ample space for several boats, campers and/or RV's."

"A MAAAAA ZING and MTO I just can’t get enough of the Lemon Pepper wings. It’s a taste like no other…smoked and fried… seasoned to perfection and we love it! They give you your money’s worth but you always want more ??? The front entry is always neat clean and they’re very welcoming and friendly. Don’t just take my word….try them out yourself. I guarantee you’ll love them? I’d recommend them to everyone."
