"The Big Texan Steak Ranch certainly lives up to its name! After seeing many billboards, we decided to stop for lunch last week, and we were not disappointed. The closest thing to this that we can find at home is Texas Roadhouse, but The Big Texan is really so much better. The prices were good, especially the ribeye lunch special (which is what we both ordered). The food was great. The steak was extremely tender and tasty. The sides were great, too, especially the chili— you could tell it was homemade, packed with meat and flavor. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the other employees in the gift shop area were friendly as well. This is a neat place to stop and take a look around, even if you’re not looking for a meal. There are a lot of Texas-themed gifts as well as some not specific to Texas. They also have a little bakery case there with some delicious and huge slices of cake (we tried the red velvet and it was honestly the best red velvet we’ve had in a while). There’s also an array of sugar cookies decorated with royal icing that also looked delicious, as well as ice cream and fudge."

"Unfortunately this time they sent very hard very stringy roast. Unable to eat it, it was too hard. So meal ended up being mashed potatoes and corn paid money for terrible meal."

"Lupita's is what it's now called, and it's great! It's different from ALL of the many Lupita's in Amarillo, and the service and foods are both top-notch. Atmosphere and decor are authentic. Give them a shot!"

"We stopped here for a quick dinner, being that we were headed to unload. They actually got my husband's burger right as well as my chicken sandwich, but why are their fry's always so under cooked? They were a bit cold not cooked all the way thru, it was like we were eating raw fries. The customer service was horrible. They have no people skills what so ever. It's really ashame when you walk into a place of business and get completely ignored. We won't be stopping here again."

"Absolutely terrible, try the flying j maybe you?ll have better luck there. -the fuel card never works here -the showers are assigned for less than 2 minutes (supposed to be 10 minutes) so you better run to your shower otherwise it?s canceled and youneed to pay for another one and wait in line AGAIN."
