In our one-week holiday we were there three times. And not because we had our domicile around the corner, but because the service and food inspired us from the first day! The way there, which we took partly with sleds and on foot as well as with the car, was more than just rewarded. Especially the salad bar, where you can use yourself and thus prepare an appetizer salad exactly according to your taste. Also dishes su... View all feedback.
The most incredible and best food for a long time. We were at the mines museum next door and just wanted to eat something fast. The museum restaurant offered itself. Unfortunately, we do not live there nearby but were on holiday in the Harz. Otherwise, we would certainly eat there at least once a week. From the outside it does not make a particularly beautiful impression. Inside, however, the guest room is very cozy. The restaurant has a huge selection of typical Balkan specialities, but the Schnitzel Wiener Art must not be missed. The service was quick and friendly and the drinks were back. To our admiration we were told after order, we could already take salad at the buffet. A great selection of salads awaited us with delicious sauces. We hadn't eaten the salad yet, and our food was already served. In view of the quantities, I could only be surprised. My son had ordered a children's carving with pommes, this was as big as in many restaurants a normal carving is not. I had ordered a gyroscope and got a huge portion of it crispy chess fried with pommes, rice and also sheep cheese. Everything was fresh and very, very good. And that at prices I knew it from 10 years ago. The huge gros just cost 8€ with fries and salad from the buffet. The children's carving with pommes and salad even only 5€. The drinks are also incredibly cheap. Whoever is in the seams of Clausthal-Zellerfeld should definitely return here. 6 STERNE
.good service..good price..good food. my friends and I were so happy with their service and is so easy to find. the hired are very pleasant and warming. . . I will definitely go back there as oliver twist :)
The museum restaurant is located in an attractive old building at the main square of zellerfeld; the facility is cozy and divided into smoker and non-smoking rooms (at none of our four meals was smoked in non-smoking areas!). the restaurant is very popular both with local and tourist and creates a friendly and lively atmosphere. the kitchen is described as German and Croatian, but the menu is dominated by traditional German foods. the front side of the house is guided by a waiter alone and charming, who takes care that no table is neglected. at any main meal (prices from about 8 euro) is an operation at the impressive salatbuffet (German raw food variations, bore selection and dressings) as well as homemade bruschetta to the self service. the meals themselves are very generously portioned – the heirth plate includes pork chops, a few Croatian porosity, leber and feta, plus homemade tzaziki and a fiery tomatensalsa. for less hunger there are various main dishes (8 euro) or fresh fish (9 to 15 euro) and wild and wild boar (11,50-12,50). for every meal there is an enormous portion of potatoes; the waiter, however, was very accommodating when we asked for replacement. the total cost for a meal for two people are exceptionally cheap; we paid approx. 25-30 euro for meals and drinks (including a delicious sweet Croatian red wine). eating is not fantastically complicated, but is freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. an excellent choice when they go to dinner in zellerfeld.
