"I think Coal Chute l provides the best food in the Cle Elum-Roslyn area by a mile. The short rib orecchiette is the kind of meal I’ll dream about until we can be together again. Unfortunately, ordering take-out is brutal. Food in our area is already super expensive and they add a mandatory 20% fee for all to-go orders. As locals it’s the thing that stops us from ordering from here on a regular basis. We just paid $78 for two, to-go pasta dishes and I don’t think I can bring myself to do it anymore This is my plea to drop the fee I’ll gladly eat there in person whenever we can make it in though. "Dan greeted our large group with a very welcoming tune. We ordered a hawaiin combo (I forget their unique names) and the cheesy bread. It was all so good, I forgot to take pics! It was a busy and hot Farmers Market day and he graciously let us bring our dog in as long as we kept good manners and kept her close to the front door/window he brought her a water bowl. (This town seems to be very restrictive with dogs due to city codes/regulations) We were checked with regularly our kids got a sweet treat at the end... as well as our dog. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious pizza! Can't wait to come back!"

"We really enjoy their homemade dishes and were impressed for a small town their willingness to embrace veg and vegan foods. A bit more unusual than average in the area, but if you made the scratch, fresh and local source ingredients, it is totally worth it. They have recently updated their menu to be very clear on vegan options and what can be done to be vegan what is beautiful. Wish there were more vegan options for breakfast, although we had created a great meal with pages."

"When I see a $75 Ribeye on a menu in a little higher class place like this I can't hold back from ordering it.Took the whole family out for a celebratory dinner. 6 of us.Everyones meal was very good.... except this steak. I ordered med rare and it was brought to me welll done. VERY DRY. And just un appetizing. I showed the waitress and she said... oh, that's very wrong. We laughed and said, yea. She asked if I wanted them to remake it and I said, no. I want to eat w my family. We already waited over half a hour to get food as it was. She sent the manager over. The anger agreed it was wrong and said... we are going to take care of that for you and please, order some desserts and we will take care of those aswell. AWESOME.Well I ended up eating a bowl of French fries and nibbling on the steak. Over half this 16oz steak was left on my plate.3 of the 6 ordered desserts (even tho we thought it was comped only 3 wanted dessert).We got the check and they comped 1 desserts and took $10 off my $70 WRONG STEAK. after talking back and forth w the manager She decided to comp $20. So I payed $50 for a over cooked dry steak that I didn't eat.I'm so taken back that a place that charges 70 bucks for a steak, believes it's ok in any way to charge for it if their cooks F**k it up.I just payed the $340 bill and left. I will not be celebrating at this establishment ever again."
