One of the best dining experiences we had at Clearwater Beach. The service was what you would come to expect with an elevated dining experience. We had the Crab Rangoon and and Gem Salad to start. The crab was amazing, the salad was also very good but not for the price, it was way too small for what they charged. We also split the Crazy Rich sushi roll which was interesting with the waygu beef and was delicious. The... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ocean Hai:
Got sick immediately after eating the grouper, not necessarily their fault, reef fish can carry ciguatoxin and there's no way to know by taste or smell. Everything else was good View all feedback.
There were 5 of us. All of our meals (which were mostly tuna/salmon poke bowls) were phenomenal with the exception of the NY strip. The steak itself was cooked perfectly (medium rare), however, the Demi glaze was overpowering and tasted like leather ruining the steak. All 5 of us sampled the steak and collectively agreed it was terrible. Our server, Bryce, was excellent and he also spoke with management who removed the streak meal from our tab. We also had drinks (island margaritas) and deserts (crème brûlée and the fortune cookie desert and both were good. There was no tablecloth on our table an oversight I'm sure but the condensation from the water bottle/pitcher kept running off of the table into our laps. All in all, we will return.

We ended with a key lime pie and it was one of the better ones I've had. All in all a great experience but just be wary of some of the portion sizes, especially on their salads.
Our cocktails, oysters, sushi, and chicken were very good. Server, Kai was accommodating and on top of it. Sat outside and had some loud birds squaking and a lot of smoke from pedestrians nearby, but didn't bother us too much. 10/10 food!
Great service from John, food seemed overpriced for what it was but it was good. No complaints, just wasn't outstanding! The live music was good, she had a great voice song choices were relaxing and nostalgic.
Everything was amazing except the snapper was definitely overcooked and for some odd reason, our waiter strongly recommended not doing the wine pairing and promoted the discount wine menu. We ended up doing the wine pairing, which was superb.
