"The restaurant is situated on a minor road leading into Flers. The building from the exterior looks traditional stone built but inside it is modern. The decor is in soothing shades of grey. It has a clever enclosed terrace and comfortable outside space also. The...food was well cooked and well presented. The service was attentive and polite. The wine list had a large selection of half bottles of wine which is good when someone has to do the driving."

"Visited with 11 biker friends. We come each summer for lunch whilst touring France. Tables are reserved beforehand and parking is reserved for us by the owner ..it's in a very scenic, beautiful area and extremely popular. The menu is varied and food is served quickly and tastes divine. They also serve alcohol and a variety of delicius ice creamsThere is no rush when finished so we always relax for a couple of hours enjoying the river scenery . We also get to use the paddle boats too. Just a lovely relaxing place."

"There is something calming about dining at the waters edge and this place has it in spades. Steps (or sloped access if you prefer) led us down to a table right on the edge of the deck over the river. We were guided by the offer of 'Moules mariniere ' for €11.90 in such a pleasant location. Service was excellent quick, polite and with a smile and the only waitress took our order as the tables filled quickly. There was a good helping of mussels however they were a bit sandy and the shells were thin which meant that a number were shattered; not something the restaurant can do much about. A comment to the 'Patron ' elicited the response that at theis stage of the season they were the best he could get. Toiltets are found down a path at the back of the garden; they were clean and pleasant. This was a great place to stop for lunch; we were there early which meant parking was not a problem and a table was available at the waters edge. I think in the holidays it might be a bit of a mission so plan it well and you won 't be disappointed."
